From Ouro's Dad Chuck (1 year update):

Ouro is my first dog and I honestly couldn't be happier with her. She's easy to live with and a smart girl who picks up on new tricks and behaviors very easily. It has meant I have to be more mindful of what I do and allow her to do since she will also pick up bad habits quickly if I let her but those are easily trained out of her. At the end of the day she just wants love and attention and plenty of play time. She's not the most food motivated but will happily grab any toy you wave at her. She's been training in scent work since I got her and it's one of her favorite ways to work. She picks up new scents with impressive speed and is very thorough and impossible to discourage once she gets going.

Personality wise Ouro is the perfect dog in so many ways. She is super dog and people friendly and will happily greet and play with anyone she can get near. She's good with kids but needs to be controlled when she first meets them since she gets very excited, but after a minute she calms down and just wants to play. Ouro is always happy and playful and I don't think she even knows how to be aggressive. She does well in a crowd although she's still learning how to handle herself in one and working on removing herself when she's over stimulated. She is resilient and recovers well after being scared or unsure. If she's afraid of something once she checks it out it's never an issue again.  Everyone she meets is her friend even if they don't know it yet and once she knows you she will greet you with every ounce of her love.
